Summer Tax Information

I will be collecting 2022 Summer Taxes on the following dates at the Lakefield Township Hall:

August 8th, 6 pm to 8 pm

September 14th, 9 am to 5 pm

If you cannot pay your taxes on one of these days, please place your tax bill, with your check, in an envelope and deposit it in our Drop Box. The Drop Box is located on the door on the North side of the hall. You may also mail it to Lakefield Township Treasurer, PO Box 397, Merrill, MI, 48637.

Make Checks payable to: Lakefield Township Treasurer **NO CASH**

After September 14th, 1% interest per month will accrue.

If you qualify for deferment, they must be in my possession by September 14th, 2022.

Mortgage Escrows are sent to the lending institution if they request it. If requested, you will see a smiley face on your tax statement.
