Special Meeting Notice
Notice is hereby given that there will be a special meeting of the Lakefield Township Election Committee on Monday, May 15th, 2023, at 6:30 PM. The meeting will be held at the Lakefield Township Hall located at 21050 Lakefield Rd, Merrill, MI, 48637.
The purpose of this meeting will be to discuss options and information regarding the 2024 election cycle and changes due to the passing of Proposal 22-2.
This notice is posted in compliance with the Open Meetings Act, Public Act 267 of 1976, as amended, (MCL 41.72a(2)(3)) and the Americans with Disabilities Act.
The Lakefield Township Board will provide necessary reasonable auxiliary aids and services, such as signers for the hearing impaired and audio recordings of printed materials being considered at the meeting, to individuals with disabilities at the meeting or public hearing upon two-day notice to the Lakefield Township Board.
